Meet Brandon
My name is Brandon Culver, and I’m the owner of Drone 30 Media. My journey into the world of drone photography/videography began in 2016. After graduating from Liberty University with a degree in Psychology - Christian Counseling I was gifted a GoPro Hero 4 (I’ve always been into techie things so this was right up my alley). After watching plenty of YouTube videos I knew I wanted to attach that thing to a drone and start capturing the world from a different perspective.
Transitioning from the desire to counsel others to flying a drone presents a fascinating connection through the lens of perspective. In counseling, the focus is on understanding and empathizing with the unique experiences and emotions of individuals. It requires the ability to see the world from their point of view, offering support and guidance.
Similarly, operating a drone demands a different perspective — one from above. Drones provide a bird's-eye view of the world, offering a fresh outlook on familiar landscapes. The transition symbolizes a shift from understanding human emotions to exploring the world from an entirely new angle.
My passion for drone photography led me to start my own business. Through my lens, I've been able to offer a fresh perspective on Louisville and surrounding cities. As a person of faith, I believe that every moment, every scene, and every landscape is a testament to a higher power. Drone 30 Media is not just about capturing stunning images; we’re about celebrating the incredible beauty that surrounds us and acknowledging the Creator behind it all.
My journey, from the streets of Louisville to the horse farms of Oldham County, has been a thrilling adventure. It's a testament to the power of passion and the endless possibilities that come with pursuing what you love. Through my work, I hope to continue celebrating the beauty of creation and inspiring others to explore their passions, just as I have with drone photography.
